PITTSBURGH, March 7, 2016 — Gateway Analytical announced today that they will give a scientific poster presentation on proactive and reactive glass delamination analysis in addition to exhibiting at the upcoming 2016 Parenteral Drug Association (PDA) Annual Meeting and Exposition in San Antonio, Texas. The 2016 PDA Annual Meeting features some of the latest and most inclusive information about traditional and Biopharmaceutical science, manufacturing technology, quality and evolving regulations. At this event, participants and companies get a glimpse of what the future of manufacturing holds, so they can prepare for the changes that are already underway in the industry.

At the conference, Emily Landsperger, Scientist at Gateway Analytical, will present a scientific poster session entitled, “Proactive vs. Reactive Testing for Glass Delamination in Pharmaceuticals” during the March 15th session. The presentation will recommend “approaches to predict the potential of a drug product to cause formation of glass particles and delamination and to detect their occurrence.” Conference attendees are encouraged to continue the conversation at Gateway Analytical’s exhibit, booth #306. Also, a webinar on this subject will be presented by Gateway Analytical on March 23rd.

“We are excited to discuss our service offerings with the PDA community in order to determine how Gateway Analytical can assist them with day-to-day issues faced during pharmaceutical product development, such as identifying foreign particulates or glass delamination analysis,” said David Exline, Senior Vice President at Gateway Analytical. “We have expanded our capabilities in order to meet customer and industry demand, giving companies the option to choose one analytical laboratory to support all their outsourcing needs, and streamline turnaround time in the process.”
